Taylor Mead
Taylor Mead is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree in Horn Performance. She is a Peer Mentor in the Honors Program, and helps with recruiting as an Honors Ambassador. She also serves as an Ambassador for the Hixson Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts. Along with being an Ambassador for the HLCFPA, she has been given a UCARE Grant to compose and arrange music for the Husker Horn Choir, with help from her coach, Dr. Alan Mattingly. She has enjoyed playing with the UNL Wind Ensemble for four semesters, and has played with many small ensembles.
Taylor enjoys spending her free time water skiing at the lake, reading books, hanging out with friends, and making music. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she is planning to pursue further education in the music field.
