Justin Mohling

Justin Mohling was born August 4th 1994 in Windsor, England just outside of London. He spent 2 years in England and then moved to Paris, France. After a short 2 years there he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. This is where he spent the rest of his adolescence. In Georgia he attended Greater Atlanta Christian School from Kindergarten all the way through High School. While at GACS he was a key member of most of the musical programs that the school had. In the marching band, Justin held the positions of Band Manager for 1 year and Band Captain for 2 years. Through his hard work as a Band Captain he was recognized by the Georgia High School Association as the "Unsung Hero" of Greater Atlanta Christian School and got his own TV segment on the Georgia Public Broadcasting channel (video can be found here: http://www.gpb.org/sports/football/match/2012/10/12/westminster-at-greater-atlanta-christian). In Symphonic band he sat Principal Horn and achieved the John Phillips Sousa award as well as then Patrick S. Gilmore award. Justin also benefited the theatre by serving as pit manager and playing horn as well as bass trombone for GACS' production of "The Wiz." Justin also played first horn in Salem High Schools "Cinderella."

Justin graduated "Decorated with Chords" and is now attending The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, working toward a Bachelors of Arts and a Bachelors in Business administration. At UNL he is active in the Cornhusker Marching Band, Big Red Express, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, and several different student groups and organizations. He prides himself in being approachable and a smiling face around the School of Music. .
