Lincoln, Neb. - Around 350 members of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and combined choruses will perform Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lied Center for Performing Arts in honor of the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
Lincoln, Neb. - Luke Thallas, a sophomore tenor trombonist from Council Bluffs, Iowa, majoring in music education, has won the 2013 Nebraska Jazz Orchestra Young Jazz Artist Competition.
