As a dancer, Lynne performed with the Omaha Ballet, A Company of Dancers from Creighton University, Dalienne Majors and Dancers (Omaha), and the Omaha Modern Dance Collective. She was also a dancer with DanceScape, which was supported by the Nebraska Arts Council and toured throughout Nebraska and the Midwest. Lynne has performed with many nationally known independent choreographers who have created works in Nebraska, including Laura Glenn, Liz Lerman, Elizabeth Keene and Valerie Roche.
Lynne has taught ballet, pointe, creative movement, modern and pedagogy at Creighton University, Emmy Gifford Children's Theatre, the Jewish Community Center of Omaha and DancerSchool in Lincoln. She currently teaches at the Pure Movement Dance Institute in Lincoln and the Omaha Academy of Ballet. In the summer, Lynne has been on the faculty of the Lincoln Midwest Ballet and has taught at the Nebraska Dance Camp in Halsey, NE since 1991.
In Lincoln, Lynne is a member of the Angels Company, and has choreographed and danced in some of their productions. She is a founding member, dancer and choreographer with the Family Project Dancers. Currently she is a choreographer and ballet mistress for the Omaha Dance Project.
Lynne has taught ballet, modern, & pedagogy in the Dance program at UNL since 1991 and is a teaching artist for the Arts Are Basic program of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts.
