The UNL Philharmonia: Opera/Chamber Orchestra is a highly select instrumental ensemble which provides accompaniment to two productions of the UNL Opera Program annually, and which performs virtuoso concert repertoire of the 18th through 21st centuries for smaller orchestral forces. The ensemble follows a rehearsal schedule approximating that of professional ensembles, preparing its performances in a small number of intensive rehearsals.
