TUESDAY, APRIL 2nd, 2013
The UNL School of Music and Dance will be hosting our fifth annual high school Small Vocal Ensemble Festival, “SINGING SMALL,VOICES ONE AND ALL”, Tuesday, April 5th, here on the UNL City Campus. This will be a wonderful opportunity for small vocalensembles (approximately 30 members or less) of all varieties [chamber choir, madrigal, vocal jazz, a cappella groups] to gather to celebrate the wonderful literature available for these special areas of choral performance. Individual choirs are invited to perform on the final evening concert at 7:00 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like your chamberchoir or small vocal ensemble to perform individually on these concerts.

Due to the nature of small ensemble singing, we have no massed festival chorus, but rather we hold a joint concert featuring selected* high school ensembles and our own university small and chamber vocal ensembles. Several pieces are selected for all ensembles to learn on the day.
DISABILITY ACCOMMODATION:
UNL Conference Services is committed to providing appropriate accommodations to guests with disabilities. In order to ensure that appropriate arrangements can be made, guests with disabilities who need reasonable accommodations must contact the Director of Services for Students with Disabilities at 402/472-3787 at least three weeks prior to their scheduled arrival on campus. Please be prepared to tell that office the name of the conference/camp and dates of attendance.
*(High School ensembles will be chosen to perform on a “first come, first serve” basis.)
