About the Festival

Sopranos and altos enrolled in high school choral programs are invited to participate in the UNL Soprano-Alto Choral Festival on Monday, April 8, 2024 at St. Paul United Methodist Church (Lincoln, NE). Each year we celebrate the continuing tradition of the power and beauty of treble voices raised in song. The festival will continue the tradition of singing several combined choral selections. Individual choirs have the opportunity to perform on the final evening concert.

There is no fee for participation. You have the option of only performing the three festival pieces or having your choir also perform two or three songs separately for the concert. For those choirs who are performing separately, you will have the opportunity to have the group work with our clinician during your individual rehearsal.

Attire for the festival rehearsals is casual. If you have school spirit clothes to wear, that is highly encouraged. For the concert, please wear your regular concert attire.

For more information, please contact Dr. Rebecca Gruber at rgruber4@unl.edu.
