About the festival

Women enrolled in Nebraska high school choral programs are invited to participate in the Nebraska Women’s Choral Festival to take place on Monday, April 3rd on the UNL City Campus. Each year we celebrate the continuing tradition of the power and beauty of women’s voices raised in song.  Individual choirs will also perform on the final evening concert at 7 p.m. in the Kimball Recital Hall.  The festival will also continue the tradition of singing several combined choral selections.  Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like your women’s chorus to participate in the festival and perform individually on this concert.

The repertoire for this year’s women’s festival chorus will include:

  1. Aure volanti, SSA, Francesca Caccini, Broude Brothers

  2. I Love You/What a Wonderful World, SSAA, Craig Hella Johnson, Hal Leonard

  3. Holy is the Lord, SSAA, Jeffrey Ames, Colla Voce
